1. Protect Your Identity
- Carry only the identification and payment cards you need.

- If you receive an unexpected call requesting banking information, end the call and contact the Bank using official channels.
- Never provide passwords, PINs, one-time passwords (OTPs), or payment details in response to unsolicited calls, emails, or text messages.
- Shred documents containing personal or financial information before disposal.
- Review your account and card statements regularly and report any unauthorized activity immediately.
2. Account and Cheque Safety
- Never pre-sign blank cheques.
- Use permanent, dark ink when writing cheques.
- Draw a line through any unused spaces and write "Only" after the amount in words to prevent alterations.
- Store unused and cancelled cheque books in a secure location.
- Carry your cheque book only when necessary.
- Keep your contact information up to date to ensure you receive important account notifications promptly.
3. ATM Card Security
- Treat your ATM card with the same care as cash.
- Report a lost, stolen, or compromised card immediately.
- Never write your PIN on your card or keep it with your wallet.
- Choose a strong PIN and avoid predictable numbers such as birthdays or phone numbers.
- Change your PIN regularly.
- Monitor your account for unauthorized transactions.
- Keep or securely dispose of ATM and purchase receipts.

- Create strong, unique passwords and update them regularly.
- Never share your passwords, PINs, or one-time verification codes.
- Access online banking only through secure websites displaying https:// and a valid security certificate.
- Avoid using personal information in passwords or security questions.
- Be cautious about the information you share on social media, as it may be used in fraud attempts.
5. Mobile Banking Security
- Protect your mobile device with a PIN, password, or biometric authentication.
- Do not store banking passwords or sensitive financial information on your device.
- Keep your device's operating system and applications up to date.
- Delete banking messages before selling, recycling, or disposing of your device.
- Avoid conducting banking transactions over unsecured public Wi-Fi or unknown Bluetooth connections.
6. Computer Security
- Download software and applications only from trusted sources.
- Keep your operating system, browser, antivirus software, and firewall updated.
- Avoid accessing online banking from public or shared computers.
- Secure your home or office network by properly configuring your Wi-Fi router and using strong passwords.
- Regularly scan your devices for malware and other security threats.
